Amorolfine is a class of drugs that belongs to the group of antifungal medicines. The salt specifically helps in treating nail fungal infections. The spread of fungal infection starts with the skin tissues when the fungus invades inside the tissues. It causes redness, irritation, a burning sensation, and scaling on the skin.
The Amorolfine salt contains properties that stop the chemical called ergosterol production. This chemical is commonly found in the nail fungal cells. The ergosterol is a survival pill of fungus and when it is not present, this leads to the death of fungal cells.
